Team Salt & Lavender
About Natasha
Natasha Bull is the founder, recipe developer, and photographer behind Salt & Lavender and author of the Salt & Lavender: Everyday Essentials cookbook. She lives in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia. She doesn’t subscribe to any particular diet and likes to eat a bit of everything in moderation, especially a good steak. Her love of salt was inherited from her Czech mom, whom she learned the basics of cooking from. During her time at the University of Alberta for her degree in English, going out into the world on her own inspired Natasha to hone her cooking skills. An entrepreneur at heart, Natasha was destined to create a small business. She loves receiving new comments on recipes and is always happy to answer any cooking questions you may have.
About Miranda
Miranda Sayer is the co-author of Salt & Lavender: Everyday Essentials and is Natasha’s sister. She also lives in Vancouver, Canada. She’s the writer, researcher, and editor behind Salt & Lavender. You’ll often see her reply to your questions and comments here on the blog. Miranda also manages the S&L Pinterest page and does many behind-the-scenes tasks, including analytics and spreadsheets. She received her master’s in Art History from the University of Oxford, was a professional editor for 10 years, then joined Salt & Lavender in 2019. Miranda much prefers leaving the actual cooking to her sister and instead writes about Natasha’s delicious recipes.
About Steve
Stephen Bull takes care of all things financial at Salt & Lavender. Prior to joining full-time, he worked as a senior assistant deputy minister and chief information officer in the Government of Alberta. Before that, he was an accountant, so his expertise is invaluable to S&L. He also assists in the studio with prep and cleanup.
